Today is Christmas Eve! We wish each and everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a very happy holiday season! 2020 has been a tough one all the way around. We’ve lost a number of our Home Town Heroes this year. That, combined with the cancellation of our donor events this year has left us with little left in the checkbook. Our board has stepped up and filled the gaps to make sure we do all we can for the families of the heroes who’ve suffered through tragedy this year. Recently, our home state of North Carolina has had a string of law enforcement officer shootings leaving two officers dead and three critically injured. Its harder being a first responder now than at any time in recent history. We have several items for sale in our store. Every dollar raised from the sale of these items supports the programs we have honoring the sacrifice of these men and women. We have a monthly gift option at our “Honoring Heroes” page.
